The annual gala dinner and awards presentation is always a fun and exciting conclusion to the day’s events. A who’s-who of our industry assembles to recognize the great work of the Ontario building community.

This year, we will recognize award winners in the following categories. Please consider your areas of strength and enter by January 19th, 2018. See below for entry details.

Our Host: CityTV’s Kevin Frankish

Kevin Frankish helped CityTV Toronto’s Breakfast Television become the number one morning show in Southern Ontario with two million viewers weekly. With his trademark suspenders and quick wit, Frankish has a loyal early morning following and has been repeatedly recognized for his career achievements and community involvement. Frankish will bring our Awards Gala his warmth, humour, and unbeatable charisma, much to the audience’s delight!

2017 Hall of Fame honoree, Larry Brydon, VP Business Development with Cricket Energy.

Larry has been in the HVAC distribution and energy services market for more than 25 years. A past chair of Sustainable Buildings Canada and the Toronto Chapter of the Canada Green Building Council, he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Efficiency Alliance and EnerQuality. Larry has contributed to a number of high-profile initiatives including the LEED Canada for Neighbourhood Development, ENERGY STAR® for New Homes, and ENERGY STAR® for Multi-family Mid/High-Rise Buildings.

Arista Homes To Receive Impact Award

Arista Homes will be recognized with the Impact Award at the EQ Awards Gala on February 22 at the Universal EventSpace in Vaughan.
The award is given to a builder that has demonstrated a long-term dedication to sustainable building practices.  Since their  Jefferson Forest development in 2009, Arista has been committed to green initiatives, enrolling more than 1,200 ENERGY STAR® homes around the GTA.
