News ENERGY STAR® for New Homes Stakeholder Comment Period Now Open

Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has now released their proposed changes to the ENERGY STAR® for New Homes (ESNH) Standard, Version 12 builder option packages (BOPs) for Ontario.

The revised performance targets and BOPs reflect the changes to the new Ontario Building Code – as outlined in MMA Supplementary Standard SB-12 Energy Efficiency for Housing (July 7, 2016 update) – that comes into effect after December 31, 2016.

Comments on the proposed changes are now being accepted.

The comment period is open until January 23, 2017.
