Our Jury helps us narrow our field of submissions to choose the best and most innovative products to appear in the Innovation Gauntlet

Wells Baker is the Director of Conservation and Sustainable Design at the Minto Group Inc.  He leads a team of engineers and specialists focused on improving product quality and building performance in both Minto’s new developments and existing building portfolio.

Minto is a residential developer and landlord with operations in Toronto, Ottawa, London, Calgary, Edmonton, and Florida.


Jacqueline Collier is Sales & Marketing Manager for Tamarack Homes, based in Kingston, and has worked in the construction industry for 17 years. She is host of a weekly interior design segment with CKWS TV, and a contributing writer with local publications.

She is honoured to also sit on the Board of Directors with the Kingston HBA as both a Builder Director and Chair of Sales & Marketing, as well as on the Board of Directors with Habitat for Humanity Kingston Limestone Region.


Shaun Joffe is an executive with more than 15 years of experience in the building industry ranging from Site Management to Global Building Initiatives including the First Certified Active House in the World.

As Executive Director, Sustainability & Building Sciences, Shaun leads a high performing team to implement new building standards for the Great Gulf Group of Companies. He is responsible for creating and constantly improving the Great Gulf sustainability corporate and product development programs.


Peter Voong has been an entrepreneur from a very young age, and owned many different types of businesses before getting into the new home construction industry, where he has been president of Castleform Developments for more than a decade.

He began building energy efficient, sustainable homes when he realized it was the socially responsible thing to do.


Jennifer Weatherston is Director of Innovation and Integration with Reid’s Heritage Homes. She has led the team in advancing the successful path to Net Zero, while demonstrating a strong commitment to advance better building practices from an affordability, home comfort, quality and production minded aspect.

Jennifer works closely with all aspects of the team to ensure seamless integration and improvement of new practices and processes, products & design.
