Dive into the changes and requirements of the standard for Canada’s most successful green building program, ENERGY STAR® for New Homes. Discover why leading builders have used this outstanding program to build better homes, gain a reputation for excellence, increase customer satisfaction, and prevent post-construction call-backs and other deficiencies.
90% of Canadians recognize the ENERGY STAR® brand as standing for quality and energy efficiency. ENERGY STAR® qualified homes have reduced heat loss, draft, noise, and operating costs, with improved comfort and health for owners.
Best of all, ENERGY STAR® will help you stay out front of where the market, regulation and energy policy are moving, while helping Canada meet our international climate commitments.
Labelling is evidence of the quality of your work. It’s third-party certified and proves the home’s high standard. Anyone can claim their homes are better – a third-party certified, labeled home means an external body has proved the truth of the claim.
ENERGY STAR® is the best-known third-party certification for high performance homes, backed by the Canadian government.
