Note: This course will take place via Zoom webinar in 2 parts; both sessions will be from 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm (Eastern Time zone)

IMPORTANT: The CHBA Renovator Manual is required for this course and is not included with registration. Please purchase the CHBA Renovator Manual separately HERE. We strongly recommend allowing at least two weeks for processing, shipping and review prior to attending session one.

CAF Rebates

As part of CHBA’s Enabling Tiered Codes Implementation and Market Preparedness project, funded by NRCan’s Codes Acceleration Fund (CAF), we’re pleased to offer rebates to CHBA members who successfully pass the exam for the following Building Science Training course.
Please note that funding is limited, and rebates will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
 
Requirements for eligibility:
  • Student must be working for a company that is an active member of CHBA
  • Student must provide their full name, company, and the EMT email address at time of registration.
  • Student must participate/attend the course in its entirety and successfully pass the post-course exam with a 75% + grade.
The rebate amount will be $400.00 CAD and will be eTransfered to the EMT email address provided during your registration.

The SO will provide a report to CHBA once the course grades are finalized, and CHBA will process the rebates.

Rebates cannot be revised once issued; please ensure that you are providing the correct company email address where the rebate should be directed.

Prerequisites

Students registering for this course MUST have successfully completed an Advanced Building Science course within the past 3 calendar years. Students taking the NZB course prior to an ABS certification course will be required to complete an ABS course before you can receive your certificate of completion + register with CHBA as a trained NZ Builder.

Students MUST have successfully completed the CHBA Net Zero Builder course within the past 3 calendar years. Students taking the NZR course prior to an ABS and/or NZB certification course will be required to complete both before you can receive your certificate of completion + register with CHBA as a trained NZ Renovator. 

An exam at the end of the course is designed to confirm that participants have learned the key Net Zero Renovator material. A passing grade is 75%.

Cancellation Policy

ENERQUALITY endeavours to be as flexible as possible with our cancellation policy. In the event you are unable to personally attend a workshop, you may, with prior notice, substitute another representative from your company.

Refunds:  Cancellations received more than 14 days before the course, a refund (less $50 administration fee) will be issued.

If a request is received less than 14 days prior to the workshop, no refunds will be issued; registrants will forfeit all course fees.

Contractual obligations and agreements with third parties may require for the policy to be amended or revised from time to time. ENERQUALITY reserves the right to reschedule, relocate, or cancel events. Should this be required, we will provide prior notice to all registrants.
