It’s almost here!
The Canadian Home Builders’ Association is offering a webinar officially introducing Version 1 of the Net Zero and Net Zero Ready labelling program, just in time for next week’s formal release.
The one-hour webinar, delivered by Director of Net Zero Energy Housing Sonja Winkelmann, covers the entire program – starting with the history behind it and covering all the program’s requirements.
For those builders, vendors and evaluators who took EnerQuality’s Net Zero Pilot Builder Workshops, the webinar will cover the gap between the pilot and the official Version 1.
More than 90 builders, evaluators, suppliers and architects around Ontario trained to the Net Zero Pilot Program between September 2015-December of 2016. Twenty-eight homes were built under the pilot nationally, the bulk in Ontario, including by EnerQuality builders Reid’s Heritage Homes, Lucchetta Homes, Doug Tarry Homes, Sloot Construction, Sifton Properties, Mattamy Communities and Minto Homes.
Version 1 of the program is expected to be officially and publicly launched early the first week of May, 2017.
