Terms and Conditions
The following are the terms and conditions for events, initiatives, workshops and webinars (referred to collectively as “events”), and include all sales available on EnerQuality’s website and event-specific registration platforms.
EnerQuality Terms of Use
Participants attend EnerQuality’s events to get the latest high-performance new construction news and to receive information to make better and more effective decisions on high-performance homebuilding. It is our objective to ensure participants have an outstanding experience, and that we provide participants with relevant information after the event is over.
Cancellation Policy
EnerQuality is committed to being as flexible as possible. If you are unable to attend a workshop, you may, with prior notice, substitute another representative from your company.
A refund less $50 administration fee (+HST) will be issued for cancellations made up to 14 days in advance of the event, initiative, workshop or webinar.
If a registrant does not attend or cancels within the 14-day period leading up to event, the full registration fee will be charged.
Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
From time to time, this policy may be amended or revised.

Rescheduling, Relocating and Cancelling Events
EnerQuality reserves the right to reschedule, relocate, or cancel events, and may need to substitute instructors. EnerQuality will provide as much advance notice to participants as possible.
From time to time, online events may be oversold. In these cases, participants who have registered beyond the cut-off will be notified as soon as possible and their registration will be transferred onto a waiting list and/or to the next scheduled event.
If you wish to confirm your status on the registration list, please email your full name, company, and question to registration@enerquality.ca
Registrations
All communications will be carried out using the email address that you provided during registration. This includes updates regarding the event or initiative and online webinar registration links. Please ensure you check for messages prior to the event delivery date and on the morning of the event, initiative, workshop or webinar.
Generally, tickets and registrations are transferrable. However, some workshops and webinars require pre-requisites. Please be mindful of this when requesting a substitution.
It is the responsibility of the participant to confirm pre-requisites and your eligibility and our workshops for Continuing Education Credits. If you have any questions, please contact registration@enerquality.ca
Health & Safety
EnerQuality is committed to providing a safe space for all participants. EnerQuality is taking preventative measures to ensure that we do our part to stop the spread of COVID-19. As a result, we have made preparations for the online presentation of our events and training.

Confidentiality
Participants attend EnerQuality events, workshops, webinars and to get the latest high-performance new construction news and to receive information and training to make better and more effective decisions on high-performance homebuilding. It is our objective to ensure participants have an outstanding experience, and that we continue to provide relevant information after the event is over.
From time to time, EnerQuality collaborates with third parties to make our offerings more accessible and reduce the cost of participation. In return, EnerQuality may exchange and/or provide select participant information to third parties. If you wish to opt out of this exchange of information, you may send your request to registration@enerquality.ca.
Educational and Training Materials
EnerQuality’s workshops and training materials are intended to facilitate great decision-making and the work of individuals and companies in the building industry in their pursuit of high-performance homebuilding.
Participants bear full responsibility for ensuring the workshop information and training materials are appropriate for their projects, and compliance with local, provincial and national laws and regulations.
Materials circulated during the event and webinar are for reference only. Unless explicitly written, participants are not authorized to copy, replicate, distribute, or reproduce these materials.
Disclaimer of Liability
EnerQuality, its staff, contractors, sponsors, and stakeholders and all other representatives and associates assume no responsibility for the use of training materials. Under no circumstances will they be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages, included but not limited to profits, business interruption, or injury, however caused.
Disclaimer of Warranties / Accuracy of Information
While EnerQuality and our training team work hard to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of the information contained herein, from time to time the materials may include inaccuracies or typographical errors. Changes may be periodically incorporated into this material. EnerQuality may make improvements and/or changes in the products, services, and support materials at any time without notice.
All processes, technologies, products and services discussed in the workshops and included in the materials are provided ‘as is’. Participants should independently confirm the expressed or implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for use with appropriate parties with knowledge of their own specific projects and situations.
Workshop participants should work with qualified building experts, including Energy Advisors, Licensed Professionals and manufacturers, to confirm the applicability of the processes, products and services of interest and to validate the information provided to their own unique situation.
